Patil condemns Mumbai terror attacks

HANOI: President Pratibha Patil on Thursday strongly condemned the deadly terror attacks in Mumbai and asked people to maintain calm and cooperate with authorities.

"Such acts are highly condemnable," Patil, who is on a four-day visit to Vietnam, said in a statement.

The President said she was confident that the authorities would bring the situation under control.
