Patidars plan bigger protest in Californi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi

GANDHINAGAR: The protest of a section of Patidar community to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US does not seem to be ebbing.

While a number of protesters who had demonstrated before the UN Headquarters against Narendra Modi have flown in to California, the protest planned therein is expected to be bigger than that was in New York.

According to Varun Patel, a Patidar activist based in Ahmedabad, the protest planned in California has been much bigger.

"People from all over have reached California and the show is going to be big there," he told ET.

Earlier speaking to ET, Tejas Bakhia a Patidar agitator from the US had said that large number of women are also getting involved in the protest in the US.

The development is altogether a bad news for the Prime Minister as well as for Bharatiya Janata Party as the Patidar community has been one of the strongest supporters of Narendra Modi and had played a crucial role in building his image overseas.
