Partyworkers should strive to return all 40 Lok Sabha seats to AIADMK
CHENNAI: AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister J Jayalalalithaa, who has been eyeing a prominent role in national politics after the next parliamentary polls, today again exhorted party workers to strive towards returning all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Jayalalithaa, who has already made her intentions known on playing a more significant role in national politics, said the party workers should consistently strive towards achieving this goal.

In her address at a marriage function here, she referred to the words of Swami Vivekananda and said one has to choose a lofty ambition in life and dedicate his life to achieve it.

"You should follow the words of Swami Vivekananda not only in your (personal) life but public life also. I kindly request you to work towards the ambition of winning all 40 seats (39 in Tamil Nadu and one in Puduchery) in the coming Lok Sabha polls," she said.

"Tomorrow's India is in our hands," she added.
