Party is set for a better future under Rahul Gandhi: Congress

NEW DELHI: Congress today said under Rahul Gandhi, the party is set for a better future.

In an editorial in its mouthpiece " Congress Sandesh", the party referred to increasing role of 42-year-old Gandhi in Congress affairs and said, "Young leaders have always marked their presence in the party.

"In the same tradition, our young leader Rahul Gandhi has now stepped in to take charge of the 2014 general elections. For him, this is the right step in party building effort that has engaged his attention over the last few years," it said.

The editorial said, "Under his stewardship, the Congress party is all set for building a better future for the party..."
