Participate effectively: Amit Shah to new Lok Sabha MPs
Shah said each Lok Sabha MP represents more than 15 lakh people and thus has a great responsibility in fulfilling their aspirations.

Shah advised MPs to spend more time in Parliament library and learn about rules, traditions and procedures. He said a good parliamentarian is one who is happy and inquisitive. He said there are three ways of becoming an effective parliamentarian — be active in the House, create an impression in your constituency through your work in the Lok Sabha and increase your influence by enhancing the reputation of Parliament.
