Key non-tariff measures faced by Indian exporters in the European Union include compliance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) requirements applicable to all commodities containing chemical substances, the commerce and industry ministry told Parliament.

Over 1.1 L Exporters Benefit from RoDTEP in FY26

Remission amounting to ₹15,756.96 crore was disbursed under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme in FY26 up to December 25, benefiting more than 1.1 lakh exporters, Parliament was told.

India's Import Growth from China has Slowed: Govt

India's import growth from China has slowed over time, while exports to China are growing faster than imports in the current financial year, the government told Parliament.

India's imports from China rose 618.73% during FY05-FY14, while the increase moderated to 87.81% during FY15-FY25.
