Parliament watch: Approval for road projects in Bihar, MoRTH’s asset monetisation target for FY26
The government has approved road projects in Bihar, totaling 3092 km, with an estimated investment of ₹70,726 crore under the PM package. As of June 2025, ₹40,096 crore has been spent.

Government has approved construction of 3092 km of road projects for Bihar under the PM package of 2015 and 2018 at an estimated revised investment of `70,726 crore out of which `40,096 crore have been spent till June 2025, road transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday in response to a question in Lok Sabha.
MoRTH’s Asset Monetisation Target for FY26
The ministry of road transport and highways projected revenue of `30,000 crore from monetisation of its assets in the current fiscal year, road minister Nitin Gadkari said in response to a question in Lok Sabha on Thursday. Gadkari said a total of `1,42,758 crore has been raised through different modes of asset monetisation till 2024-25.
