Parkash Singh Badal should not indulge in Gurdwara affairs in Delhi: Sheila Dikshit
Delhi CM strongly refuted charge that Delhi govt had any thing to do with the violent clash that took places between the two factions of Akali Dal at Gurdwara Rakabganj Delhi.
"It was a clash between the two groups of the Sikhs which is being politically exploited by various political interests. Police is investigating the whole episode very seriously," Dikshit, who was in the city to preside over a function organised on the eve of 123rd birth anniversary of Jawahar Lal Nehru.
She categorically said that the Delhi government had nothing to do with the violence.
Talking to media persons here, the chief minister said "Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal should not interfere in the affairs of Delhi Gurdwara elections."
In reply to a question, she described Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi as a leader of the future but said that it was premature to say at this time as to who would be the prime ministerial candidate in the 2014 elections.
