The exchange of fire in several areas along the Line of Control in J&K continued for the 10th consecutive night on Sunday. Army officials said Pakistani troops continued unprovoked small arms firing in different sectors along the LoC, prompting effective retaliation by the Army.

The Indian Army responded promptly and proportionately," a defence spokesperson informed.
