Pakistan should be asked to destroy terror infrastructure at once: L K Advani

L K Advani urged Centre to ask the Pak govt to destroy at once the "terror infrastructure" in the neighbouring country in order to build good relations with India.

MUMBAI: Senior BJP leader L K Advani today urged the Centre to ask the Pakistan government to destroy at once the "terror infrastructure" in the neighbouring country in order to build good relations with India.

Advani's comment comes ahead of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari's scheduled visit to Delhi and the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on Sunday.

"Pakistan should keep its promise made by former Pakistan President (Pervez Musharraf) to the then Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee that no part of Pakistan would be allowed for terror activities against India," Advani told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.

"The Indian government should once again convey to Pakistan that in order to build good relations, no part of the country should be used for terror activities against India. Whatever terror infrastructure has been built in that country should be destroyed at once," Advani said.
