Pakistan national arrested by SSB on Indo-Nepal border
A Pakistani national was arrested by SSB at Sonauli on Indo-Nepal border for allegedly entering the country without valid documents.

The arrested man has been identified as Javed Kamal (38), a native of Faisalabad in Pakistan, Deputy Commandant (SSB) Manish Kumar said today.
SSB has recovered a Pakistani passport and documents in Javed's name from his bag.
"Javed claims to be an agricultural scientist and was coming to India for research. He claims to have reached Nepal via Bangkok by flight," he said.
According to Javed, he had reached the border by bus from Kathmandu yesterday morning.
"He was crossing the border on foot when a joint team of SSB and local police caught him during checking yesterday. When Javed failed to give convincing reply for not carrying a visa, officials brought him to the checkpost for questioning," said Kumar.
The passport carries stamps of Bangkok and Kathmandu, he said,
SSB said that the Pakistan Embassy in Delhi has been intimated about the arrest.
"Javed has also claimed that he was unhappy in Pakistan and wanted to settle in India. He said he also wanted to trace his forefathers in India because his family had shifted to Pakistan after partition," Kumar added.
