SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stated that Pakistan’s invitation to pro-freedom leaders of J&K to attend a function on March 23 at its High Commission in New Delhi should not be seen as a conspiracy against India.

Mirwaiz suggested that both India and Pakistan should come together and take some J&K specific measures and New Delhi should stop looking at Kashmir through the prism of security and terrorism. “When we meet Pakistani officials, our aim is not to gangup or conspire against India,” Mirwaiz told ET.
