Pakistan, India exchange lists of nuclear facilities
Pakistan and India exchanged lists of their civilian nuclear facilities Tuesday under an agreement that prohibits them from targeting each other's nuclear installations, Pakistan's foreign ministry said.
The two South Asian nuclear rivals _ who have fought three wars since 1947 _ have exchanged such lists annually since 1992, said a Foreign Ministry statement.
The exchange of lists took place through diplomatic channels in Islamabad and in New Delhi, it said.
Pakistan and India have a history of bitter relations, but the situation has improved since 2004, when they started a peace process to resolve their disputes, including the divisive issue of Kashmir.
