State police website, including cgprosecution.gov.in, sericulture.cgstate.gov.in, choice.gov.in, cgvyapam.choice.gov.in, cglabour.gov.in and several other government sites were hacked on Tuesday.
The homepages of these websites were defaced with Pakistan flag with a remark, `Rummy Khan was here, Jux a security round'. The websites were immediately shut down by the government.
On visiting Rummy Khan's Facebook page, TOI found he had posted the mirror link of all hacked 24 websites. There were many other mirror links of hacked sites on FB page of Rummy Khan and another hacker of Pak Cyber Attackers (PCA) club.
On Facebook chat, Rummy told the reporter that “Chhattisgarh websites are being run on old version of drupal and maintained under one server. By hacking them, I want to hammer home the message that these sites are vulnerable."
Chhattisgarh government websites have been a happy hunting ground for Pakistan cyber jihadist. In July, a day after PM Modi launched Digital India week, the official website of National Institute of Technology of Chhattisgarh was hacked and defaced by Pak cyber hackers.
