ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Commerce Minister Humayun Akhtar Khan has would meet his Indian counterpart Kamal Nath in Kathmandu during the Saarc Commerce Ministers' meet next month to discuss problems relating to bilateral trade.

Replying to questions on Pakistan's reluctance to extend the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India, Khan said in Lahore on Monday that he would meet Nath on February 26 to discuss trade related issues.

India has already complained to Saarc about Pakistan's reluctance to implement South Asian Free Trade Area (Safta), which the Saarc Commerce Ministers were expected to discuss at the February 26 meet in the Nepalese capital.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's State Minister of Commerce Hamid Yar Hiraj will attend the second SAARC Business Leaders Conclave (SBLC) being held in Mumbai from February 17 to 18.

The Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is organizing the meet in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) and all national federations representing the SAARC countries. The World Bank will join as the knowledge partner.

Commerce Ministers of several Saarc countries were expected to attend the meet, a media report said here.
