Pahalgam terror attack: It is a premeditated massacre, says BJP

The BJP on Wednesday condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and called it a premeditated massacre.

"This is not a terror act. It is a premeditated massacre. The terrorists asked the victims their religion before opening fire -- a demonic inhumane act that must not go unanswered," BJP national general secretary and party in-charge of J&K, Tarun Chugh told ET. Chug said that under PM Narendra Modi's zero tolerance policy, no terrorist would be spared.

"This is New India. We don't just mourn - we respond. Every martyr will be avenged. This wasn't just an attack on Pahalgam, it was an attack on the soul of India and the answer will be decisive action, not just condemnation," Chug asserted. He called on the entire nation to unite in this battle against terrorism.
