Sprint queen P T Usha has urged Indian corporate houses to come forward in finding and supporting the athletes.
Usha, who was here to take part in the Tata Steel's centenary run, appreciated the athletic academy, established by the steel giants, saying 'it was a good move'.
The sprinter, who runs a residential sports academy in Kerala, has also sought help from the Tata Steel to upgrade her academy.
Claiming that several cadets of her academy have the potential to win medals at international level including at the London Olympics, Usha said athletes needed to be picked up at the age of 11-12-years.
