P Chidambaram, Veerappa Moily did not meet on LPG issue recently: FinMin

NEW DELHI: The Finance Ministry today said there was no meeting between Finance Minister P Chidambaram and Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily yesterday on subsidy for LPG cylinders.

"No meeting took place either yesterday or in the recent past" between Chidambaram and Moily on subsidy for LPG cylinders, an official press release said today.

Media reports said that the two had met yesterday and discussed the issue of raising the cap of six cylinders per household in a year.
