Over Rs 18,000 crore transferred to farmers under PM-KISAN: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that more than Rs 18,000 crore has been transferred to nearly 10 crore farmers under the latest instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, underscoring the government’s ongoing commitment to farmer welfare and agricultural development.Addressing a public gathering in Banaskantha, Gujarat, the Prime Minister stated that over 50 lakh farmers in the state have benefited, receiving more than Rs 1,000 crore in total. In Banaskantha district alone, nearly Rs 50 crore has been credited to the bank accounts of thousands of farming families.
