Total of 4,31,992 people or 0.9 per cent of the 60.42 per cent electorate in Maharashtra have opted for NOTA option in this elections.

MUMBAI: A total of 4,31,992 people or 0.9 per cent of the 60.42 per cent electorate in Maharashtra have opted for None of the Above ( NOTA) option in this elections.

The highest number of NOTA users are in Gadchiroli where 24,488 voters opted for the option, while at least 2503 people in Dhule in north Maharashtra chose this option, as per the data available with the Election Commission.

4.87 crore of total 8.06 crore voters had cast their votes in three phases in Maharashtra.

As far as vote share is concerned, BJP has bagged 27.3 per cent of votes, while its alliance partner Shiv Sena's vote share is 20.7 per cent. The vote share of Congress and NCP is 18.1 per cent and 15.9 per cent, respectively.
