Outgoing Indian envoy TCA Raghavan meets Nawaz Sharif
Outgoing Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan TCA Raghavan today paid a farewell visit to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who appreciated his services.

"Matters of bilateral interests come under discussion during the meeting," according to Radio Pakistan.
The Prime Minister appreciated his services for improving ties between the two countries as Raghavan was lucky to see revival of dialogue and a visit by Indian Prime Minister, officials said.
He was appointed High Commissioner to Pakistan in June 2013 when new government led by Sharif was formed after historic peaceful transition of power from one civilian government to another.
Raghavan in his long career also served as Deputy High Commissioner in Islamabad from 2003 to 2007 and is respected for his understanding of Pakistan's politics.
He worked on diplomatic assignments in UK, Bhutan, and Kuwait since he joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1982.
He is being replaced by Gautam Bombawale who is currently serving as ambassador to Bhutan.
