Orissa High Court defers TV channel owner's bail plea hearing
CUTTACK: The Orissa High Court has adjourned to October 22 the hearing on a bail application filed by a local television channel proprietor Manoj Dash, who was arrested by CBI in the ponzi scheme scam.

Dash was arrested by CBI last month for his alleged links with Artha Tatwa group CMD Pradeep Sethy and his involvement in the multi-crore rupees scam.

The vacation court of Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo adjourned the hearing yesterday when the CBI counsel appearing in the case sought some more time to produce the case diary of Dash.

The CBI was, however, directed to produce the same before the next hearing.

Dash along with another print media owner Madhu Mohanty were arrested by the central investigating agency on September 14 for similar offences.

Earlier the bail applications of Dash were rejected by a designated CBI court and Khurda district and sessions court separately.
