Option 'None Of The Above' to be available for MLC polls
The CEO also informed that voters can get their polling station information through toll free number 1950.

VIJAYWADA: The option NOTA (None Of The Above) will be present on the ballot papers in the upcoming Legislative Council election in the Guntur-Krishna teachers constituency, to be held on March 22.
Chief Electoral Officer ( CEO) of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Bhanwarlal said the voters may also opt 'NOTA' in the election as it has been made available on ballot papers.
He held a review meeting with district collectors and officials from both the districts on election preparations yesterday through video conferencing.
The CEO also informed that voters can get their polling station information through toll free number 1950.
He instructed officials to verify the identity card of voters before issuing ballot papers and also provide basic amenities to voters across all polling booths.
He also instructed officials that they should ensure and take measures to close election campaign by the candidates before 48-hour of polling.
The total voters in the Guntur-Krishna teachers constituency is 18,931.
