Opposition to raise Vyapam, Lalit Modi issues in Parliament: JDU
K C Tyagi said the Bihar MLC polls were not a "trial" before the Assembly elections as only a limited number of voters participated in them.

The Opposition would not allow Parliament to function if the BJP government failed to take action against Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for helping ex-IPL chief Lalit Modi and those involved in the Vyapam scam, national spokesperson of JDU K C Tyagi said in a press conference here yesterday.
He said that during the previous Congress government rule, ministers went to jail for their alleged involvement in scams whereas the BJP government was trying to protect the culprits.
On the RJD-JDU-Congress alliance suffering a setback in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, he said the polls were not a "trial" before the Assembly elections as only a limited number of voters participated in them.
