LUCKNOW: The entire question hour was today washed out in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly amidst uproar by the Opposition parties, including BSP, BJP and Congress, over law and order situation in the state.

As the House assembled at 11 am on the second day, Opposition members demanded a debate on law and order, and stormed into the Well with BSP members wearing blue caps and waiving flags.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey requested the members to return to their respective benches and maintain order, and said that the issue would be taken up later.

But, as the uproar continued, he adjourned the House for half an hour.

At 11.30 am, when the House re-assmbled and Leader of Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya stood to spoke, the BJP and Congress members continued their dharna over the incident in Meerut where an army jawan was killed by eve-teasers.

Amdist uproar, the House was adjourned till 12.20 pm, which also washed out the entire question hour.
