Opposition moves privilege notices against CM Naveen Patnaik and others

BHUBANESWAR: Opposition Congress today moved privilege notices against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kalpataru Das and Government Chief Whip Pravat Kumar Tripathy.


While Congress Chief Whip Prasad Harichandan served a privilege notice against the Chief Minister for non-tabling of two CAG reports in the House, party MLAs Santosh Singh Saluja and Anup Sai gave privilege notices against Parliamentary Affairs Minister and the Government Chief Whip respectively on allocation of inadequate time for debate on the no-confidence motion.

Speaker Pradip Amat said that the time for the no-confidence motion debate was allocated according to the decision of the business advisory committee.
