Opposition makes its in-house plan on farm laws clear
Opposition parties are planning to take up in Parliament from Tuesday their opposition to the government’s handling of the agitation and demand that the farms laws be repealed.

Though the Lok Sabha’s only business on Monday is presentation of the Union Budget, there are indications of some opposition MPs raking up the farmers’ issue. Floor leaders of opposition parties will soon hold strategy meetings.
At the all-party meeting convened by the Rajya Sabha Chairman on Sunday, various opposition leaders led by leader of opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad demanded that the House must hold a special discussion but it was rejected by the government representatives. CPI MP Binoy Viswam said he has already sent a notice to the Rajya Sabha secretariat, seeking discussion on the laws.
