Opposition hits out at PM Narendra Modi's blog over the 30-day report card of his government
The Congress party, the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Janata Dal (United), in separate statements, saw signs of pessimism in the blog of the Prime Minister.

The Congress party, the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Janata Dal (United), in separate statements, saw signs of pessimism in the blog of the Prime Minister with JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar even saying that the work done so far did not reflect the arrival of good days promised to voters.
"Thirty days are little to assess the performance of any government ... people have high expectations from him ... but, whatever work has been done so far does not reflect arrival of good days promised to voters during the Lok Sabha poll," Kumar, whose rivalry with Narendra Modi was known, said.
Congress wanted to know what internal dissensions and challenges Modi was facing within 30 days of taking over government and what the reasons were. "India wants to know... whether centralisation of power is the reason for this internal dissension," he asked and hit out at the government for the rail fare hike and rise in sugar prices.
In a dig at the prime minister’s statement that his government did not have the "luxury" of a honeymoon period, Congress party spokesman Randeep Surjewala said that the 30-days report card of his government presented through a blog by the Prime Minister is "full of pessimism and reflects tendency to criticise all institutions instead of ensuring course correction."
BSP supremo Mayawati also hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi by alleging that the current dispensation led by BJP had quickly "surpassed" the Congress government in making the lives of people "more difficult".
"The prime minister claims that all the decision taken in the one month of his government were in national interest and if so why have they gone against the interest of people, like rail and freight fare hikes and opposition to appointment of Gopal Subramanium to the SC," Mayawati said.
Mayawati said that this also gives credence to the allegation that BJP has always been "soft" with black marketeers and hoarders.
