'One third recruitment to state police to be reserved for women'

RANCHI: Jharkhand police chief D K Pandey today said one/third of the recruitment to the state police department will be reserved for women.

Over 17,000 personnel, mostly for the post of sub- inspector and constable, would be filled up by the year end and one/third of them would be reserved for women, the DGP told reporters here.
