KANPUR (UP): One person was killed in an explosion on the premises of a government-run primary health centre in Kalyan area of the district on Thursday.
"The blast occurred in a staff quarter which collapsed due to the impact. We have found one body but many others are feared trapped in the debris," District Magistrate Mukesh Meshram said, adding relief and rescue operation was on.
The cause of the blast was yet to be ascertained, he said.
