One Indian was among three persons killed in a wall collapse in a factory on Sunday evening in Johor Baru area, located at the southernmost tip of Peninsular Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: One Indian was among three persons killed in a wall collapse in a factory on Sunday evening in Johor Baru area, located at the southernmost tip of Peninsular Malaysia.
The wall collapsed after a lorry crashed into it.
The Indian national was later identified as Kasi Venkattesan, a resident of Chennai.
Kasi had been working in Malaysia for the past two years, and he was eager to return to his home as one of his sons was not keeping well.
"Kasi had not returned for the past two years and was looking forward to going home in June. He was constantly telling me that he was feeling down as he missed his family badly. He was so depressed that he even lost his appetite at times," the nstonline.com quoted Kasi's co-worker Raguthenathan Periasamy.
Raguthenathan added that Kasi had been depressed over the past few days as one of his sons was ill. However, on the day of the incident, he had cheered up when his wife told him in a telephone call that the boy had recovered.
"He was so happy that he offered to buy me sweets, but I declined as I had a stomach ache and needed to use the toilet urgently," said Raguthenathan.
The factory manager said family members of those killed had been informed of the accident.
According to the report, the factory will bear the cost of sending the bodies back to their families. The bodies are expected to be sent back on Friday.
