On World Yoga Day, CII, Young Indians organized a session of Blindfold Yoga to reinforce inclusion
The inclusive Yoga session saw 65 participants from Young Indians, CII Office Bearers, and students of the Yuva programme from Sankara College of Optometry with Children with visual impairment celebrate Yoga.

“International Day of Yoga has put this wonderful form into the international focus. In today’s world while we rush to get our deadlines, it becomes important to take care of yourself and also ensure that those with disadvantages are also able to enjoy the privileges that we have. CII – Young Indians is proud to have conducted this session of Inclusive Blindfold Yoga to reinforce the need for inclusive society,” said Laeeq Ali, chairperson, Young Indians Bangalore Chapter.
Rekha Hegde and Pooja Thawrani teachers of yoga who volunteered for this session, said, “It was a pleasure to see a representation of Bengaluru at the inclusive Yoga Session by CII Young Indians. We hope that through this session we made people close their eyes, opens their heart to those around.”
