Abdullah has invited all legislators of the National Conference (NC) to attend the meeting at Abdullah's Gupkar residence where he has said they will deliberate on matters of collective importance and public welfare.
Early last month, at a function in Tangmarg in northern Kashmir, Abdullah had said that he wanted to "burst like a cloudburst" and that he would "speak after Eid ul-Azha".
"This is a meeting of legislators where they would put forth their perspective about the government, as well as the functioning of the ministers. Many of us are not happy about how ministers are working and dealing with people as well as the party members," said a senior legislator of NC.
He said the NC-led coalition government in the Union Territory will complete 20 months in June and that it is time to discuss what it has achieved and where NC is not doing well.
"There will be discussion and may be a decision about Cabinet expansion. Central Kashmir needs representation in the Cabinet," said another NC leader.
