Numaligarh Refinery Limited wins IPE CSR corporate Governance award 2012

The award was conferred at a function held in Mumbai recently and was received by the NRL team comprising of Nilmoni Bhakta, Director (Finance), Bruno Ekka, General Manager (HR) and P K Sarma, Manager (CSR).

GUWAHATI: Assam based Numaligarh Refinery Limited ( NRL) has been awarded the Institute of Public Enterprise ( IPE) CSR Corporate Governance Award 2012 for its continuous efforts in improving the socio- economic condition of people residing in its vicinity and the region as a whole through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ) schemes.

The award was conferred at a function held in Mumbai recently and was received by the NRL team comprising of Nilmoni Bhakta, Director ( Finance), Bruno Ekka, General Manager (HR) and P K Sarma, Manager (CSR).

The award has been instituted by the IPE, Bangalore and endorsed by World CSR Congress, CMO Asia & Asian Confederation of Business. According to NRL the focus areas of NRL's CSR initiatives are Agri allied/Income Generation Activities; Education; Infrastructure; Health and Promotion of Art/Sports/Literature & Culture.
