Nuclear energy need of the country: Hooda

Defending the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday said atomic energy is the need of the country.

UCHANA/JIND: Defending the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday said atomic energy is the need of the country.

Without naming any political party, Hooda, a Congressman, said "the welfare of the country cannot be achieved until and unless politicians rise above their party politics and selfish interests."

France is a developed country and it generates maximum of its energy needs from nuclear energy, he said addressing the party workers at Uchana in Jind District.
