NRIs have also been addressing meetings in various parts of the country including Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and other states appealing people to vote for Modi, he said, adding that the NRIs feel that India needs a strong leader like Modi to develop the country. Indian-American businessman Piyush J Patel told PTI that nearly 5,000 NRIs are expected to fly home from the US before voting takes place in Gujarat on April 30.
