NRHM case: Allahabad HC fixes Dec 20 as next date of hearing

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court today fixed December 20 as the next date of hearing in the alleged scam in National Rural Health Mission in Lucknow CMO office.

The order was passed by the bench of Justice Imtiyaz Murtaza and Justice Ashok Pal Singh on an application filed in a PIL seeking direction for a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the NRHM scam.

As per the earlier order passed by the court, DIG CBI along with other officers concerned appeared before the bench and informed that investigating officer O P Parida has been removed from the probe and departmental action was being taken against him.

The CBI filed the status report along with a counter affidavit in a sealed envelop. The bench after examining the content, posted the matter for hearing on December 20 along with the hearing in murder of two CMOs V K Arya and B P Singh.
