Now biometric system to mark attendance at Jharkhand secretariat

RANCHI: After making several surprise visits to keep government officials and employees on their toes, Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed would inaugurate the biometric system to register attendance at the state secretariat.

"To ensure punctuality among officers/ employees the newly installed biometric system will be inaugurated by the governor tomorrow at 11.00 AM (here)," an official release said here today.

Jharkhand is under President's rule now.
