Noida Authority Board to disburse Rs 450 crore to farmers in next month

Noida Authority Board will disburse Rs 450 crore under hiked compensation of 64.7 per cent to farmers of 73 villages in next month.

NOIDA: In accordance with the Allahabad High Court order, the Noida Authority Board will disburse Rs 450 crore under hiked compensation of 64.7 per cent to farmers of 73 villages in next month.

Against the total required amount of Rs 1,091 crore for disbursement to farmers under the hiked compensation, the board in two phases has already disbursed Rs 650 crore, the sources said.

The authority will disburse the remaining amount in the coming month, they added.

Meanwhile, the authority has also approved a new district hospital building project.

The 220-bed hospital will be built on 14,000 square meter area at Sector-39 here at a projected cost of Rs 424 crore, the sources said.

The present district hospital will be turned into children hospital and paediatric institute, they added.
