No talks yet with centre on Naga issue: Manipur government
Greater Nagalim has been one of NSCN-IM’s core demands. Greater Nagalim stipulates the integration of Naga inhabited areas of Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Myanmar.

Rehanuddin Choudhury, joint secretary (home), said the Manipur government had earlier requested the Union home ministry to provide a copy of the draft accord at least a month before the date fixed for consultation so that the state government could express its views and comments.
Talks between NSCN-IM and the government of India are caught in a stalemate with the NSCN-IM seeking the replacement of interlocutor RN Ravi. NSCN-IM has been demanding a separate flag and constitution, which the Centre has ruled out.

Meanwhile, Nagaland’s opposition party, Naga Peoples Front (NPF), has resolved to withdraw membership from the Joint Legislators Forum (JLF) on Naga political issue on the grounds of “huge trust deficit”, particularly since the ruling dispensation has no confidence with the NPF legislators.
JLF is a platform of legislators in Nagaland to facilitate peace parleys between the Naga political groups and the Centre.
NPF had demanded a three-day session to discuss several issues confronting the Naga people, including the political issue.
But the session was only for a day. NPF said JLF has become a “mere forum without any tangible roadmap to the political issue”.
