JAIPUR: There was no respite to people from cold winds sweeping across Rajasthan for the last two days with Mount shivering at 4.4 degree Celsius.

With ongoing western disturbances accompanied by northerly winds and clouds, mercury plummeted by one to three degree Celsius at many places in the state since yesterday, a MeT Official said.

Jodhpur recorded a minimum of 6.8 degree C followed by Ganganagar 7.1 deg C , Jaipur 8.1 deg C, Bikaner 8.8 deg C, Churu 8.9 deg C, Ajmer and Jaislamer 9.1 deg C each, Barmer, Udaipur, Kota, and Chittorgarh in the range of 10.2 to 14 degree C.

No major change will occur in the next 24 hours in the state on weather front, a forecast said.
