No recruitment for two Haryana molesters: Army
NEW DELHI: In line with its zero tolerance policy, the army will not go ahead with the recruitment process of two of the three alleged molesters onboard a moving Haryana roadways bus, who had cleared physical and medical tests for the force.

Army sources said the next step for the youths would have been a written test but since they have been booked under an FIR for such an act, they will be barred from further recruitment process.

"We take such issues very seriously and we have a zero tolerance policy. Two of the youths had cleared physical and medical tests in one of the rallies held in Haryana recently but they would not be allowed to take part in further process which is a written test," the sources said.

Two college-going sisters had confronted the three alleged molesters inside the moving bus, with one of the girls even hitting the youths with her belt, but the passengers had remained mute spectators.

The entire incident, recorded by a passenger on mobile phone, went viral both on television and social media. It showed the two girls using hands and belt to thrash the trio, who appeared to be taken by surprise.

All the three youths -- Kuldeep, Mohit and Deepak - were later arrested and remanded in custody till December six.
