No probe into police action on terrorists: BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma
NEW DELHI: While the National Human Rights Commission issued a notice to the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh government on the encounter of Simi absconders, the BJPhas disapproved of any probe into the “police actions against terrorists.”

“There should be no inquiry or probe into police actions against terrorists. The trend of probing encounter of terrorists should end,” BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma told a news conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The BJP leader, in particular reference to the latest encounter killing of eight Simi operatives by Madhya Pradesh Police, cautioned against questioning the ‘encounter’ suggesting that it will demoralise police forces.

“Questioning Bhopal encounter demoralises Police force,” Sharma said before launching into an attack on opposition Congress for raising questions about the encounter. “The Italy Congress leaders are mourning. Why does the Congress have so much sympathy for terrorists whether they belong to Simi or LeT.”
