Govt on Friday dismissed reports that four former top bureaucrats were being probed for their alleged links with a powerful lobbyist in the wake of the 2G spectrum controversy.

NEW DELHI: Government on Friday dismissed reports that four former top bureaucrats were being probed for their alleged links with a powerful lobbyist in the wake of the 2G spectrum controversy.

"There is no inquiry against any of them," the official spokesperson said reacting to reports that former TRAI Chairman Pradip Baijal, former Industrial Policy and Promotion Secretary Ajay Dua, former TRAI member D P S Seth and former Economic Affairs Secretary C M Vasudev were being investigated for alleged nexus between them and corporate lobbyists.
