No political vendetta against opponents: Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana CM
Manohar Lal Khattar said his government does not believe in political vendetta or harbour feelings of enmity towards any political leader or party.

Referring to an FIR against five former MLAs of Congress in the Change of Land Use (CLU) case registered on Friday, he said it was done on the basis of recommendations of the Haryana Lokayukta.
Speaking on the sidelines of a function in Sonepat, Khattar said the BJP government was working to keep the promises made in the election manifesto. Besides, it has also taken many decisions in public interest which do not seem to have gone down well with leaders of opposition parties, he said.
On fixing minimum qualification criteria for contestants fighting the Panchayat polls, he said, "The initiative was taken to bring educated people with clean image in politics".
On extension of the Metro Rail Project up to Sonepat, the Chief Minister said a proposal to extend it up to Kundli had already been sent to the central government.
He also said that a state-level function would be organised at Rohtak on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti on February 21.
Meanwhile, Haryana government today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ashoka University in Sonepat for providing chief minister's fellowship, an official release said here.
The MoU was signed at a function organised on the occasion of the second foundation day of the university, where Khattar was the chief guest.
Emphasising on the need for educating girls, Khattar said during the 14 months of the present government, five new government women's colleges had been opened. He said the government planned to open one women's college in a radius of every 20 kms.
