No personality bigger than party: BJP leader Avinash Khanna

The Rajasthan BJP incharge was referring to a notice served to the senior party leader by the BJP national discipline committee for indulging in "anti-party activities".

JAIPUR: BJP national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna today said that no personality was bigger than the party, days after MLA Ghanshyam Tiwari was served a notice by the party.

The Rajasthan BJP incharge was referring to a notice served to the senior party leader by the BJP national discipline committee for indulging in "anti-party activities".

He said no political leader, no matter how senior, was bigger than the party.

"Tiwari has been given time to reply on the notice. Party will take its decision based on merit following the reply," he said while speaking to media persons on the sidelines of an event organised on Red Cross Day here.

Khanna said that be it the chief minister or minister or MLAs, all are party workers.

"I'm also the vice president because of the party. There are various platforms to put in complaints while maintaining discipline," he added.
