No Lokpal can eradicate corruption from this country: Badal

The Punjab CM today said that no matter how many anti-corruption bills are formed in the country, this menace will not cease to exist.

JALANDHAR: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today said that no matter how many anti-corruption bills are formed in the country, this menace will not cease to exist.

Badal was speaking in a function here organised by Hind News group, for the distribution of funds for martyrs' family.

"Those who were on hunger strike for a strong Jan Lokpal Bill will not achieve anything, as corruption will never end from this country," Badal said.

Talking about the committee formed by the Centre for waiving loans he said, "When committee for waiving loans to Kerala, West Bengal and Punjab was formed we were happy but sceptic about the results. And as expected nothing has resulted from that, however, my nephew has left me due to the confusion resulted."

Speaking about the black money stashed abroad Badal alleged, "Amount of the black money is same as the GDP of our country and this money is also used in fighting elections".
