No JPC probe into 2G scam: Sonia Gandhi

Taking a swipe at the BJP, the Congress chief said, "The BJP should look at its own track record. The main opposition party should not denigrate Parliament."

NEW DELHI: Sonia Gandhi on Monday rejected Opposition's demand for JPC probe into 2G spectrum allocation scam, Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said.

Gandhi was addressing the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), the last day of the winter session that saw longest ever shutdown of Parliament by Opposition demanding joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into the 2G spectrum issue.

The Congress president also said the party is determined to fight the corruption.

Taking a swipe at the BJP, the Congress chief said, "The BJP should look at its own track record. The main opposition party should not denigrate Parliament."

Sonia Gandhi congratulated the government for achieving 8.9% growth.
