No factionalism in party: Uttarakhand Congress
DEHRADUN: The state Congress today denied any reports of factionalism and said that everyone in it was committed to work together for the party.

Speculations on factionalism in the party's state unit were rife after MLA and former Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna's loyalist Subodh Uniyal had met party president Sonia Gandhi on June 20.

"There is no factionalism in party's state unit and every leader is committed to work together for strengthening the party," state Congress chief Kishore Upadhyay told PTI.

Upadhyay also rubbished reports of differences with Uniyal and said that he has met Uniyal and both of them were committed to work for party's progress.

My priority would be to take everyone along, so that party can be strengthened, Upadhyay said, adding if party is strong all leaders will benefit from it.
