‘No expectations from you as Rahul Gandhi’: Yogi slams LoP over Manusmriti remarks in Raebareli

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticised Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Raebareli over his recent Manusmriti remarks in Maharashtra, where Gandhi said women should “break free from the shackles of the Manusmriti” and argued that women belong only to themselves. Adityanath accused Gandhi of “disparaging” India’s traditions and heritage, questioned his role as Leader of the Opposition, and said remarks against the Prime Minister amount to “insulting India itself.”
